Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park continues its fall schedule of guided Fossil House tours on weekends only. Tours run at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.

The park itself remains open 24 hours. Day-use fees are $5 for Nevada vehicles and $10 for out-of-state. The 14-site campground is first-come, first-served; drinking water is typically available through the end of October. The Berlin townsite tour stays self-guided.

Visitors should bring cash or check, pack out trash, and stay on established roads. Fire use is limited to designated rings and stoves; check current restrictions on arrival. Services are limited—nearest fuel and supplies are in Gabbs via SR 844.

No new road or fire closures specific to the park access were confirmed Friday. Call the park or check parks.nv.gov before heading out, especially if overnight temperatures drop.
