Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park continues fall operating hours: the grounds stay open every day, while Fossil House guided tours run at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only through Nov. 1. Memorial Day-to-Labor Day daily tours have ended.

Entrance is $5 for Nevada vehicles and $10 for out-of-state. Camping remains available at the 14-site campground (RVs to about 25 feet) with water typically on through October. Self-guided townsite walks and the nature trail to the Fossil House are always accessible.

Seasonal fire restrictions are in place across Nevada State Parks. Campfires are limited to designated rings or commercial stoves where allowed; check current postings. No services exist at the park or in Ione; Gabbs is the nearest fuel and supply stop.
