P2 Gold Inc. reported Monday that its Gabbs gold-copper project on the Walker Lane Trend remains on track, with an updated mineral resource estimate expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 and a feasibility study targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
The company said an infill and expansion drill program underway since October 2025 has completed 96 reverse-circulation holes and 39 diamond holes across the Sullivan, Lucky Strike and Car Body zones. Two RC drills continue work, one extending a higher-grade corridor at Lucky Strike and another testing Sullivan down-dip. Both zones remain open.
A phased production approach is now contemplated: early heap-leach of Car Body material, followed by larger heap-leach volumes in years one and two, then a mill at 12 million tonnes per year from year three alongside variable heap-leach feed. Water well drilling and rights acquisition efforts continue in support of a future plan of operations.
Local traffic and water effects from ongoing exploration remain limited to shift and drill movements already familiar in the valley. Residents should monitor company and BLM filings for any surface activity changes. Details drawn from the Sept. 21 P2 Gold press release; no independent assay confirmation or county permitting updates were located in the same window.
