Gabbs and the surrounding valley can expect continued sunny to mostly clear conditions early this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast for the area.
Highs are projected near 85 to 86 degrees Tuesday through Thursday, with overnight lows in the mid-50s. Winds remain light and variable to west-northwest at 5-10 mph. Skies stay mostly clear into the weekend, though highs trend cooler toward the low 70s by Sunday and Columbus Day.
No hazardous weather watches, warnings or advisories were in effect for northwestern Nye County as of Sunday evening. Travelers on SR 361, Pole Line Road and routes toward Middlegate, Hawthorne or Fallon should still watch for typical desert dust or sudden gusts.
